What are the most common penis disorders?
Whenever any of the penis disorders appear, it should be brought to the attention of a professional physician and some disorders may even require a surgery. The simplest penis disorder is actually the swelling of the foreskin, and it can result from sexual activity, including masturbation. This disorder is called Oedema and basically it is not dangerous as long as the foreskin is in the normal position and blood flow is present. However, if swelling persists for some time, you should contact a doctor since this could be a sign of some other more dangerous condition. Paraphimosis represents the inability to move the penis foreskin over the glans, and it can be either from fluid trapped in your foreskin which is left retracted or it can be from accumulation of fluid in the foreskin after some intense sexual activity. This condition can be treated by simple means. But if it persists for several hours, you should visit doctor's office. Next there is a famous Peyronie’s disease – one of the most common penis disorders today. It is characterized by curvature of the penis that is caused by anomalous scar tissue. Only in the most severe and rare cases will surgery be necessary. Physical accidents or hard cycle seats can be a source of damage to the pudendal nerve. This pudendal nerve entrapment is usually characterized by pain when you sit or loss of sensation and orgasm. However, this should not be confused with sensation loss that is caused by permanent nerve damage from diabetes or peripheral neuropathy. Just like any other muscle, penis can be torn by excessive bent. Penis fracture should be treated right away in order to prevent any permanent damage.
The most common penis disorder is certainly impotence, also known as erectile dysfunction. Impotence is the inability to reach or maintain the erect state of penis so that you can have sexual activity. |
